Series 2 Episode 1 "Six Legs" - Game "The Count"
The first game involved a button on a plinth which sat on a set of steps. We had two of these made. I finished the steps off with a black vinyl detail all the way around. I also covered the two button plinths in a matt white vinyl.

Series 2 Episode 1 "Six Legs" - Game "Pentathlon"
This game comprised of two teams going head to head to complete 5 separate mini games. For a few of these mini games I was tasked with the drawings for the construction and scenic team. I took the SketchUp model which our designer made into layout and created my drawings from there.

Series 2 Episode 6 "Ups and Downs" - Game "Slides and Ladders"
Slides and Ladders was our biggest stand alone game for this series.
The main task for me on this set was the numbers on the board. These had to be big enough to fit with the scale of the game, but small enough to be able to go through our vinyl cutter. Because of this, I had to do each digit in two pieces to make it easier to cut. But we also double layered these, black first, then white to give the numbers a bit of definition and clarity. Before embarking onto the board to start this task, I made a spreadsheet in excel with all the measurements in order for us to get the numbers in the centre of each individual board.
To make it easier for the players whilst on the board, we added numbers onto the risers of the game, this was on the slide squares, slide exits or the black felt. Adding another 42 numbers to the list!
For the numbers alone on this game we must have used an estimated 300 meters of vinyl.

Series 2 Episode 6 "Ups and Downs" - Game "Slides and Ladders" continued.
The images above show the "Start" and "Pass" areas of the game. Here I added a vinyl boarder on the aluminium composite. On the doors are MDF panels - vinyl was added to these with opposite colours to the main backing.
Above each doorway was a light box with either "Start" or "Pass". I added black vinyl to the opal perspex of the light box leaving the words or numbers off for the lights to be visible. Within the "Pass" light box we had to add 6 individual light boxes where the numbers are, as these lit up with a colour matching to the team that went through to the next round. To finish the boxes off there was a frame added and again, I vinyl wrapped these, matching the colour with the door panels.
