During quiet periods in the TV & Film industry I still like to keep busy and having multiple links to architects has its perks. I have assisted an architectural practise with proposed layout drawings.
Nowadays a lot of people wish to see 3D visuals of their proposed projects and that's where I come in. By using SketchUp and V-Ray I can create renders to bring their ideas to life. This helps the clients who can't necessarily get the full picture from technical drawings.
I was approached by these clients wanting some 3D visuals of their proposed work to support them going through trouble with their neighbours. After a meeting, their neighbours had a much better understanding of their plans.
I was given the chance to do some proposed layout drawings for an architectural practise. They gave me drawings with the existing plans and elevations on and I was given a sketch of what the extension would look like and I took it from there.
